So I know this kid named Lumberjack Jeff. He's the big furry man in the pix from spring break throwing me in the water. When in doubt, he always manages to say something that sticks with you...be it "I love everything!" or like yesterday "Keep on keepin on, JJ." (He calls me JJ Stokes, after the football player, don't ask me I have no idea)

Keep on keepin on. I love it. I'm not sure what it really means and I don't think it's the sort of phrase one should think about too hard. For me today, it meant finding something to do for 3 hours as I was locked out of my house. I went home to surprise my family who was coming in from NYC to find that the key I had on my key chain which I thought went to my house, actually opened nothing at all. I did a little shopping, ok a lot of shopping, recycled some cans my mom gave me 2 weeks ago that have been sitting in my trunk, and went and picked up dinner at papa murphy's !! (Fabulous pizza by the way, did you know that they were voted best pizza chain in the country the past 3 years?!)

Tonight it meant that I had to haul it from the QCA back to IC in order to make my HC meeting. Can y'all keep up with all of those acronyms? (*Quad City Area, Iowa City, Homecoming respectively.) But I made it to the meeting, my council is absolutely fabulous, and we are going to have the best Homecoming ever!!! I want to start a tradition while I'm here and I guess I've decided its going to be HC. I love it, I love it, I love it!!

Ah yes, and I dont have to work this weekend, so I just need to make it through another week of classes, produce my financial business plan, start on my real estate project, study for upcoming tests, and when all is said and done my honey is going to be here from colorado! How lovely. My dad thought he was being cute and said we should all go to dinner together. I said, who should all go to dinner together. And he said, why us, you, John and his parents!!! I think he just wanted to see the look of sheer panic on my face. Mind you, my dad and his mom have been friends since they were about 4 years old. Still though, not funny dad.

Alright. Off to watch the episode of sopranos I missed tonight.
