Father and Daughter

"...Trust your intuition Its just like going fishing You cast your line And hope you get a bite But you dont need to waste your time Worrying about the market place Try to help the human race Struggling to survive its harshest night

Im gonna watch you shine Gonna watch you grow Gonna paint a sign So youll always know As long as one and one is two There could never be a father Who loved his daughter more than I love you..." -Paul Simon

I love my dad sooo much!!! I didn't think that I was going to be able to go to Colorado because of the transportation issue, but my dad, seeing how important it was to me, helped Jessa and I rent a car!!! I know, right? (Well, Jessa and I are already experienced Enterprise Rent-a-car car renters)

This means one of two things, we're moving again (*he always does nice things for me when he's about to drop the bomb that we're moving again) or he can see how much seeing John meant to me (*which would be fabulous, but kinda odd considering my father has never liked any guy I've ever dated...I think that's a father's job though, right?).

Anyway, my dad paid for half and Jess and I hauled our blue neon rental car out to Boulder/Denver for the weekend. We made the trip in 11 hours despite the weather. I'm talking, we went throuch rain storms, fog, snow storms, wind advisories, tornado watches, and even tumble weed before we rolled on into colorado. And p.s. I didn't know that baby cows were as ever-present in spring as they are. I could have had an easter egg hunt for baby cows...I thought only rabbits pro-created that quickly. Mother nature is OC.

I climbed one of the flatirons on Saturday, went to the most romantic place in the entire world called the moon rock on Sunday, and saw first-hand what a movie-esque college campus is like. The kids at Boulder were slip'n'sliding in the middle of the campus, playing golf with tennis balls, having concerts, laying out, playing sports...it was like a movie!! The list goes on and on.

In any case, the weekend was fabulous. 30 days left in the semester. Holy toledo where did the time go?! Jessa told me today that each year of your life goes by faster and faster. I must say that she is absolutely right, because it seems like just yesterday we were sledding behind Burge on the cafeteria trays.

Keep on, keepin on
Smooches!!
