Irish Blessing

"May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, and rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand." -An Old Irish Blessing
So the tornados devastated Iowa Avenue and the surrounding area last night. (Yes, the picture above is my street. I live 3 houses down from the one on the far left) I am not sure why, but God decided that we were best left untouched. I was at work while the roomies were holding down the fort. Jessa actually got caught in one of the tornados and looked like a mud woman by the time Kim was able to pry open the door and let her in the house. Kelsey, panicked by weather, was having a most horrible time. Needless to say, the tornados swirled around our house but never touched ours. The cars are still in ditches and flipped over, windows blown out, houses destroyed, and people without a place to go. Due to the gas leak which occured, we were left without shelter last night. We won't have power for another 4 days so I'm shackin at a fellow Chi O's apt. currently. I think Kim's daddy was watching out for us from up above. Say your prayers for those who are without a place to go.

At least people are having a sense of humor about it all now. The car in the creek behind our house has a For Sale sign on it for $14,000 and there is another squished car that has a sign that says For Sale: Price Reduced. There's another tornado watch currently, I hope this one skips us. No more F2 tornados for me please!!
Amen!

Hi dude!
Christmas Day falls on December 25. It is preceded by Christmas Eve on December 24, and in some countries is followed by Boxing Day on December 26. Some Eastern Orthodox Churches celebrate Christmas on January 7, which corresponds to December 25 on the Julian calendar. December 25 as a birthdate for Jesus is merely traditional, and is not thought to be his actual date of birth. Regards
Happy new year !-!
