So I haven't blogged in while and it's about time I catch y'all up. I went to my first meeting at the River Music Experience which is when I decided that that is really what I'm supposed to do with my life. I need to be involved in the music industry or with festival planning or something, because there is a fire inside of me that just comes alive when I'm doing it. I had more passion on Wednesday night for something than I can ever remember having.

The roomies are doing well. Jessa got a job as the red bull rep...pretty funny story actually. We thought that she should where my angel wings to the interview and say, "red bull gives you wings!"...well she brought them but didn't wear them, but got the job anyway. She told him that she was going to wear them and he told her that it wouldn't have helped her get the job. The boss needs to lighten up I think, I would have given her a job in a second!

Well I have to work tonight bartending....by the way, I'm starting to get really good at making martinis and margharitas!! Thirsty? Then I'm going to stop by a Mary Kay party for a bit and head to an old friend's senior thesis presentation. Jake and I dated for the first 2 years of college (the kid/song above) and during that time he was pretty big with his band, but I helped him write this one. My friends and I always used to ask people if you were a land/water/air animal what would you be and why...I'd be the animals above. Jake got the idea to write this song after I asked him what a platypus would sound like on his guitar.

In any case, tonight he is performing his senior thesis project...my idea, naturally...which is the last 45 min of Willi Wonka and the Chocolate Factory to music that he's written. Similar concept to Pink Floyd/Wizard of Oz. We'll see how it goes. I haven't seen the kid in over a year and it's probly going to be an interesting encounter.
