Take Me Home Tonight

"...I can feel you breathe I can feel your heartbeat faster. Take me home tonight! I don't want to let you go till you see the light! Take me home tonight!..." - Eddie Money

This week has been absolutely nuts! We had the Homecoming Local Establishment Tour which was a wonderful way to bring council closer together. Sadly, one of our members has the mumps and another has walking pneomonia! aahhh! They're dropping like flies! We walked around with Burger King crowns on and took Iowa City on by storm. I figured since none of us will ever be able to run for king or queen, this would be the perfect way to act like we could for a night. At first the council thought I was nuts when I whipped out the crowns (which I probably am), but they had a good time with them by the end of the night.

I also finished my last class of my first senior year. Funny, I know. Finals are next week and I will be spending a large amount of time at the library between now and then. Between two finance finals and western civ, I have a lot of work to do between now and Thursday morning.

I was also fortunate enough to spend time with my Bumpo (my grandpa) and Jan (his wife) at the Foundation Board meeting/Presidents Club meeting this weekend. My grandfather used to be the Foundation President and it just amazes me to see all that he has accomplished in his lifetime. Between he and Jan, who is a prominent doctor at the Mayo clinic (and has also received such honors in her lifetime such as "the most passionate doctor in the country!!"), I could not possibly ask for better role models in my life. I should be so lucky if I work hard enough to come into the success they have attained thus far in their lifetimes. I got to schmooz with all of the people that our buildings are named after (which I think is hysterical) and was fortunate enough to receive 2 free meals this weekend! whoo hoo!!!

I still can't believe senior year has come to an end. Holy Toledo!
Here's lookin at finals :(

Smooches!

p.s. Pictured above is a good portion of the council and myself with the assistant director Niki Branit
